This represents an extensive update t= o the previous 'shell'. The focus of this rewrite was to get the configura= tion and state groups in place and in-line with tables in the NHDP protocol= draft. To do this we added to constructs, a nodeId of discovered peers an= d an interfaceId of discovered peer interfaces. This was necessary to inde= x into a table of addresses associated with the remote interface. Now that the config and state groups are well developed in the NHDP-MIB, we= were able to align and update the configuration and state groups in the OL= SR-MIB (also posted today). If you have any suggestions to objects for the performance group (or notifi= cations), please post to the list. We'll be working those issues next. This contain= ed some extensive revisions, including: + A CapabilitiesGroup - which allows a net mgmt appl to discover the capabi= lities of the SMF node, e.g., RSSAs supported + Put the reporting functions in a ReportsGroup - we wtill need to identify= approapriate statistics to be reported in this group + added a number of performance counters related to the DPD functions (base= d upon Ian's earlier suggestions) + Broke out the performance counters by IPv4 and IPv6 ( per Ian's earlier = suggestions) + Added the IF tables for the performance counters + Added tables in the config and state groups related to multicast addresse= s to be forwarded by the local device (both configured and discovered). Still have some discussions ahead: + The draft still contains a gatewayFilterTable which probably should go el= sewhere (e.g., it's own MIB?) =20 + We need to fix the conformance sections,; right now it is pretty much of = a brute force approach.
