You will however need to stop at the "Gun Rental" counter, immediately after immingration. Gun rental counters are usually located next to the car rental counters. It's best to reserve a gun in advance, this can be done easily over the Internet. Google is your friend. :-) Ole J. Also, you will want to brush up on your horse riding skills, since horses are heavily used for local transportation. Remember, in the US we use the big sturdy Western saddle, not those silly little English ones. The requisite boots, hat, and jeans can be bought at the local general store for a very reasonable price. You may also want to buy some gold pans and maybe a shovel and a pick, as I hear gold has recently been found in the hills and can be picked up with almost no effort. -- Dean From paul.hoffman@vpnc.org Tue Feb 23 08:19:43 2010 Return-Path: X-Original-To: 77attendees@core3.amsl.com Delivered-To: 77attendees@core3.amsl.com Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by core3.amsl.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 9882628C2DA for <77attendees@core3.amsl.com>; Tue, 23 Feb 2010 08:19:43 -0800 (PST) X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at amsl.com X-Spam-Flag: NO X-Spam-Score: -5.986 X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-5.986 tagged_above=-999 required=5 tests=[AWL=0.060, BAYES_00=-2.599, HELO_MISMATCH_COM=0.553, RCVD_IN_DNSWL_MED=-4] Received: from mail.ietf.org ([64.170.98.32]) by localhost (core3.amsl.com [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id uvhCS-6GX75b for <77attendees@core3.amsl.com>; Tue, 23 Feb 2010 08:19:42 -0800 (PST) Received: from balder-227.proper.com (Balder-227.Proper.COM [192.245.12.227]) by core3.amsl.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4E03328C150 for <77attendees@ietf.org>; Tue, 23 Feb 2010 08:19:42 -0800 (PST) Received: from [10.20.30.158] (75-101-30-90.dsl.dynamic.sonic.net [75.101.30.90]) (authenticated bits=0) by balder-227.proper.com (8.14.2/8.14.2) with ESMTP id o1NGLhJU076479 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA bits=256 verify=NO); Tue, 23 Feb 2010 09:21:44 -0700 (MST) (envelope-from paul.hoffman@vpnc.org) Mime-Version: 1.0 Message-Id: In-Reply-To: <3944476262.951383301@softarmor.com> References: <3944476262.951383301@softarmor.com> Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2010 08:21:42 -0800 To: "Dean Willis" From: Paul Hoffman Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Cc: 77attendees@ietf.org Subject: Re: [77attendees] Airport shuttle X-BeenThere: 77attendees@ietf.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.9 Precedence: list List-Id: <77attendees.ietf.org> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 23 Feb 2010 16:19:43 -0000 At 9:08 AM -0600 2/23/10, Dean Willis wrote: >Also, you will want to brush up on your horse riding skills, since horses are heavily used for local transportation. There are no hills near Anaheim, as a quick look at a topographic map can verify. On a historic note, there *was* panning for gold near Anaheim as late as 1973, but no longer.
